Quigley's mouth drops and his eyes widen when he sees Aquavorn's fish.
"Wow!" he says, very impressed. "I knew you'd be a good fisherman, Aquavorn!"

"Thanks, but it wasn't anything really. I usually can catch alot more fish than that," said Aquavorn modestly as Melina took the fish from him.

Quigley sits down by the fire, thinking about his mother, and wondering where she could be. He hopes that she's safe, and that the wise man they are soon to meet could help them locate her.

Melina cooked, as she cooked, she hummed snatches of a song. Aquavorn sat by her with what seemed like a permanent smile on his face.

"Oh! I almost forgot!" says Quigley suddenly but happily.
He reaches into his bag and takes out several small cylindrical containers inside a little basket.
"These are some Seasonings that my grandmother made from fresh herbs a long time ago," Quigley says. "They stay fresh for years, so you can use them if you like, Melina!"

"Really? Are you certain, dear?" asked Melina, smiling at him.

"Of course," says Quigley happily.

Melina nodded, and began adding the spices. Soon, the meat, fish, and cheese was finished. "Everyone eat up!" Melina giggled.

"Thank you, Melina!" says Quigley, very happily. "This looks delicious!"
Quigley digs in, and immediately feels warm and comfortable, not to mention a lot less hungry.
"It is delicious!" he says with glee. ;D

"Awww, thank you dear. It's just a trifle, not anything like what I cook at home. Aquavorn will tell you, right honey?" giggled Melina as she set a plate in front of her son. He began eating, and smiled right away. "Well, if there is a difference, I can't taste it!" he laughed.

"Yep, mom's the best cook in the world!" said Aquavorn, munching her food with a grin on his face. "It's only a trifle, dears, really!" giggled Melina, though she was blushing from the praise.

After just one taste, Quigley feels much stronger and healthier.
"Where did you learn to cook so well, Melina?" asks Quigley politely.

"My mother taught me...as did her mother before it. It has been somewhat of an art in the family, you might say," smiled Melina.

"Wow, that's neat! I love how family traditions are passed down genertation through genertation."
Quigley smiles happily, then an interesting thought enters his mind.
"I've studied about the elders for years," he says. "Apparently, they were descentdants of the first Sages, and although they didn't have as much power, they were still known for their wisdom, and they were advisors to the King and Queen of Mythica."
"There were seven elders, just like there was, and is, seven sages, so each sage had a corresponding elder descendant."
"Around the time of the elders, a group of powerful evil magic-wielders lead an uprising against the King and Queen, if you can call it an uprising, since the leaders were brainwashing and hypnotizing their 'followers'."
To refresh his memory, Quigley pulls out a thick, old, dusty book from his bag and flips through the pages.
"Aha," he says. "This might interest you: one of the leaders of the evil uprising was a witch named Andra, who was half-Water, half-Shadow."
"You want to know what I think?"
