Anastas looked at Aquavorn. "Oh my...!"she yells and picks him up. "I'll be back, but first he needs water."she says to Quigley and runs with Aquavorn in her hands.

Cassandra and Deandra aim their weapons at Anastasa, but Quigley leaps up and smacks them both with his staff.
Quigley: "They're knocked out! Hurry! I need someone to attack Cassandra!"

Anastasa looks at Cassandra and Deandra in a mean way and decides to drop Aquavorn in a river for now.She runs by them two and takes out her sword. "Wanna play it the hard way, you get it the hard way."she says and charges to Cassandra.

Cassandra: "AUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" as she feels Anastasa's sword.
Quigley hits Deandra with his staff.
Deandra: "AUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Cassandra: "No! This can't be! We must've underestimated the Sages' power! Come on, Deandra! Let's get out of here, for now!"
Deandra: *Turns to the Sages* "This isn't over! It's not even CLOSE to being over! We'll be back, and we'll be more powerful than we've ever been! Don't you doubt it for a second!"
And with one last sneer, Cassandra sends a black shadow after Quigley, then Cassandra and Deandra disappear.
Quigley is too weak to fight it, so the shadow knocks him backwards, and he lies there, motionless.

Anastasa helps Quigley up and puts one of his arms around her neck so he does not fall. "Come on, you need rest."she says and walks the way to her house.

Quigley: "Thank You. Do you live here?"
He pauses a moment, lost in thought, and then says:
"I used to live here with my parents and my grandmother...But one day, Cassandra came, and cursed my mother with a terrible illness. My father went after Cassandra, but I later learned that Cassandra had destroyed him.
Nobody could find a cure for my mother's sickness, but I was able to use a charm to keep her alive. She was being taken care of by my grandmother, but....my grandmother died, too. It's not looking good for my mother. I've been searching for a cure for her, but I can't find one....."

Quigley: "Oh. I'm sorry. But thank you for helping me."
"After Cassandra left, once I had grown, I knew I had to avenge my family. My grandmother said that Cassandra had wiped out all my other family. The population of the Shadow people is scarce. There are barely any of us left.
I've always been an outcast of this land....But I know I have to find Cassandra to save Mythica..."

Aquavorn practically sobbed with relief as he hit the water. He sunk to the bottom, and lay motionless for a few moments, regaining his energy. As soon as he got back out, the sun peeked over the horizon, and he retained his human form. Holding onto his staff for support he weakly made his way to Anastasia's home. He sighed with relief when he saw they were unharmed.
"Are you guys....okay?" he asked weakly.

"Yes, we're all right," Quigley says. "There's no way any of us can defeat those witches alone. But all of us together make a good team, though."
With much effort, he manages to stand up. Then he sticks his arm out in the center of them.
"I think we should work together from now on. Mother always said that destiny will show you the path, but you must navigate through it. I think it's destiny that we all met, but we'll have to figure out the rest for ourselves.
What do you say?"

Quigley smiles at Aquavorn.
"Thanks. I'm not sure where they went, but they'll probably be back soon. Maybe we should combine our power. What do you think?" he asks them both.
He holds out his hand and a black beam of light shoots upwards, then a large, coin-like object rests in his hands.
"It's the Shadow Medallion."
He throws his arm upwards, and the medalllion spins and twirls in mid-air in front of them.
"We can join are medallions. I think it might help."

"Alright!" smiled Aquavorn.
He raised his hands, and a blue beam of light shot upward. The Water Medallion came to rest directly beside the Shadow Medallion.

"If the sages can combine their powers to bring down evil, maybe my mother's sickness will vanish! I can only hope..."

"Do you want me to look at your mother, Quigley?" asked Aquavorn, putting his hand on Quigley's shoulder, "I feel that she's sick. I'm a healer of my people, so I may be able to help."
