Reki smiled (rather evilish/mischeviously) and lifted her hands so that the palms were facing Cassandra. She made a strange wispering sound, like snakes slithering through dry grass, then a blast of air shot at Cassandra. Catching her unawares, Reki's blast forced Cassandra to fall head over heels backwards, hitting her head on her own energy barrier.
(( i hope i didn't make cassandra seem too weak, but oh well, she'll recover ))

Before Cassandra had a chance to get up, Aquavorn closed his eyes, and a blue aura surrounded him. A deluge of water poured from his fingertips to strike Cassandra. He waved his hands, and a thundercloud appeared above her head.

Cassandra looks up at him, almost scared, but then suddenly an evil smile stretches across her face... "All right, then," she laughs. "I'll leave you all alone, for now....Maybe I'll go regain my energy....Besides, I know a nice lady who lives in a small village not too far from here...." Quigley freezes: "No....Don't you dare..." Cassandra begins to laugh. Quigley: "NO!" As Cassandra flies away, Quigley runs after her as fast as he can, but she knocks him back with a blast of energy. |

Aquavorn's eyes widened. He knew who she was talking about.
"No! I won't let you get away!" cried Aquavorn.
He motioned with his hands, and thundercloud swept over Cassandra. A bolt of lightning struck her with a great amount of force, sending waves of lightning energy through her soaked body.

Quigley: "We have to get to the village! She's going after my mother!"

They run to a small village, to find a little house in flames.
Quigley: "No! Aquavorn! Can you put out the fire?"

Aquavorn nodded, his eyes worried. He closed his eyes, and a raincloud appeared overhead, dousing the licking flames...

Quigley quickly thanks Aquavorn then runs inside the house.
He looks around worriedly.
Quigley: "No.....she's gone!"
Cassandra appears again, laughing.
"You fool!" she says.
Quigley: "Stop saying that!"
Cassandra: "Your mother isn't gone! But don't worry, she's safe...with me....."
Quigley: "You evil witch! Let her go, or else!"
Cassandra: "Or else what? You can't do anything without her. All I have to do is...."
She pauses, then laughs again.
"So long!"
She disappears.
Quigley sinks to the ground, unable to fight back tears.

Aquavorn goes over to Quigley quietly, and puts a comforting hand on his shoulder, knowing nothing he could say would help at the moment...

Quigley takes many deep breaths, then stands up and holds his staff up...
He whispers something, then the staff begins to spin wildly around on his hand. It points north.
"That's where Cassandra and Deandra are." Quigley says. "Crystal Cavern is to the north. There's an ancient shrine there, that contains powerful energy. It also serves as a hub, connecting the six lands together."
Quigley: "If we want to get to Crystal Cavern((Creative, isn't it ;D?)), then we'll need a faster method of transportation. I know a place we can go."
He beckons to the other sages, and leads them to a small ranch. An elderly man greets them, and after a quick disscussion with Quigley, he opens the gate to the corral, and says:
"You may each choose a horse, free of charge."
Quigley chooses a beautiful black one. "She remembers me," he says. "I used to play with her when I lived in this village." ;D

Aquavorn looked at each of the horses quietly, until he found one that was pure white. It nuzzled him gently.
"So pure, like water," he whispered.
He gently said something in the horse's ear, and the horse nuzzled him with even more fondness.
"She's beautiful," he said with a smile.
