Thunder began to rumble and shake the castle, but Zelda gently led Link inside and over to a soft, plushy chair.

Prince Ganondorf, a friend of the royal family, decided to leave the castle before the rain got worse.
(...remember how they were allies in the very beginning of OOT?)
