Hi! This isn't a very good poem, but I hope you like it nonetheless. I think everybody on the site right now has already read it before, but I thought, "Hey, why not?" I made it up in my head on an airplane, my house, a condo in Corpus Christi, a rent car, and my aunt and uncle's house.
Hope you enjoy it ;D.
AS THE DAWN BREAKS
As the dawn breaks, and a new day begins,
The rising sun wakes with the warm-blowing winds.
Together they make a spectacular sight,
As if it could take away all of your fright.
Like hot, flaming tears, the light gently cries,
All nature blooms up to see the sun rise.
It silently treads over all of the land,
And with softness it spreads, like a warm helping hand.
Gently awakening all forms of life,
It stops all pain. It ends all strife.
As the bright sunshine chases the darkness away,
The dawn breaks free for a bright, new day.

You've got talent for not only writing stories, but for poetry as well. Your work is just awesome. I bet you'll be an author of novels and poems one day.

That's the trick to poetry. Saying what you want in the coolest way you can think of, and making it fit into rhyme and rhythm.
Maybe I should make some poems, too! ;D
