Did anyone buy Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows yet? I really want to read it, but I'm not sure if it's still sold out. I'm probably going to Chapters today to see if it's still there since I haven't been there since ages.

I got it on the day it came out, yet I'm still reading it...I'm so ashamed....I mean, with Half-Blood Prince, I finished it in two days...Of course, HBP was a lot shorter...

It's not a mental problem, or anything, thank you very much, but I just have trouble getting a rhythm going. I stop and focus too much, I think, and sometimes I'll get sidetracked thinking about something else...I'm working on it, and I think I'm doing better... So, Midna fan, what do you think of it so far? |

I'm at the tenth chapter, but I have so many other books to read that I'm having trouble focusing on reading Harry Potter too...

I know it's the last book, but I don't really like it when so many people die. Like in the other Harry Potter books, only like one or two people died, which is okay. But the 7th book has like a million kills in it.

I'm gonna put *spoilers* in this topic's title so we can talk more freely without spoiling for others who haven't read it yet. The death that I thought was the most sudden was probably Hedwig's or Fred Weasley's. I mean sudden as in, I didn't expect them to die at that part. Even though I know Hedwig's being chased after by death eaters, but since she's Harry's pet, it never occured to me that she would be killed. For Fred it's almost the same. They were fighting Voldemort and the other death eaters when he died, but I actually expected all the Weasleys to survive. I would never have imagined one of them dying. |
