There's a big variety of controllers to play Wii games with, including the Gamecube Controller, Classic Controller, and the Wii Remote.
This is a huge project for Nintendo, like every other Zelda game, so they will definitely try to take advantage of how the game is controlled.
How do you think the game will work?
I think every controller that the console can use will be compatible with the game. Just like Twilight Princess for the GCN/Wii, the same controls could be possible while having to do different things (aiming with the control stick vs. pointing at the screen).
With the Wii Remote, things could become more realistic. There might be more movement involved if you're trying to do something such as swing a sword, wield the shield, throw a boomerang, or maneuver a horse. At the same time, the game could offer the same type of gameplay with a Gamecube or Classic controller but moving with the control stick and making it happen with the press of a button.
