Regions of Mythica:
There are nine provinces: Orinia, Furia, Erulea, Galerea, Nivia, Luxia, Umbria, Tempia, and Mythia.
The first four provinces are said to be protected by their special elements. While the regions in the cardinal directions were created by one of the gods or goddesses alone, the regions in the intermediate directions were created by two of them, whichever ones had their own regions closest.
Here's a bit about the regions in each of the cardinal directions:
Orinia--The Orinians worship Orinia, the goddess of Earth, who created the region and the people. They come from the Oakwood Forest to the south.
Orinians have the ability to talk to plants and animals, and use them to help them in battle.
Furia--The Furians are the toughest race in the kingdom. They are the main makers of most weapons and armor, and are said to have been created by the Furian, the first of the gods who helped create the land, and also the creator of the element ofFire. They reside in the mountains to the north, most notably Mt. Ignus, the largest volcano in the land.
Furians can withstand extreme heat and swim in pure molten lava, and also use their powerful Fire for attacking and defending.
Erulea--The graceful Eruleans were created by Erulea, the Goddess of Water, and all water for the kingdom starts at the Erulean region. They come from the Aquarian Sea in the east, where their rivers reach out to the farthest areas of the kingdom.
Eruleans can breathe underwater, and use their element, along with their wisdom, for offensive and defensive purposes.
Galerea--The Galereans are the race created by none other than Galerean, the second of the gods, maker of Wind. They worship their creator, and the wind, at their sacred shrine at the Ventian Desert to the west.
This race can actually control the power of the wind, and use it at their disposal. Wind, when in skilled hands, is quite a powerful force to be reckoned with.
Regions in the intermediate directions:
Nivia--The Ice region to the northeast, created by Furian and Erulea. Furian made the strong mountains, while Erulea used her frozen water on them to turn them into icecaps.
Nivians have a resistance to the freezing power of their home, and can swim in the coldest water.
Umbria--The Shadow region in the southwest, created by Galerean and Orinia. This region is covered with darkness that only the eyes of the Umbrians can see through.
Despite the darkness, the Umbrians are like any other race, in that they are loyal to the king, and do not wish for war to erupt.
Umbrians can see in the dark, which can be very useful.
Luxia--The region of Light in the northwest, in the Luxian Prarie. The land was created by the two gods, Furian and Galerean.
Luxians have the power of light, and can use it in many different ways.
Tempia--The region of Time, created by the two goddesses, Erulea and Orinia. The Tempians who reside there are said to contain the power of time.
Yes, it is true, Tempians, when using special powers, can control time, but they can't just go anywhere in time whenever they please. However, it's still a very useful power.
The last region, Mythia, is where the Mythian royal family reigns. All four gods and goddesses are said to have created them. They reside in the city of Mythia, in the center of the kingdom. (No, they couldn't think of a better name for their capital city, so they just named it after the region)
Each region has a king or queen who rules that land, but the Great King and Queen of Mythica are the most powerful rulers in the land.
You CANNOT be Mythian. Sorry.
When choosing your race, keep these in mind:
-You can be half of one race, half another. So, you could be part Furian, for example, and part Erulean. Or, you could choose to just be one race.
-You can be a member of the royal family of any region other than Mythia. But the guidelines are that you HAVE TO BE ALL ONE RACE, NOT HALF ONE, HALF ANOTHER.
If you are a member of the royal family, you can put either "Prince" or "Princess" in the title choice of your profile. Those are the only titles, because the king or queen would be your parent.
Keep in mind that ONLY ONE PERSON PER ROYAL FAMILY is allowed. Two members cannot both be in a royal family.
Once the eight royal family spots are taken, no one else can be a member of that family.
Also, if you choose to be a member of one of the royal families, you must have at least one parent as a family member.
You can be adopted, if you wish, but ONLY IF YOU'RE NOT A MEMBER OF A ROYAL FAMILY.
You can make either one of your characters or both of them a member of a royal family. But, if both of them are, they must be related, like siblings or cousins.
Cities:
There are many cities in the kingdom. Choose one for your birthplace (it actually doesn't have to be somewhere in your races' region), and another, or the same, for your current home.

Capital City: Oakwood City
Cities in the Furian region: Flame Mountain, Volcanus-Ignia, City of Flame, Red-Rock Town, Furian Village.

Classes:
There are six fighting classes that you can choose from. The class you select determines your skill with different weapons. Each class has its own special weapon that it excels in, and they all have unique special skills that can be used for attacking and defending.
These are the classes:
Swordsman--A well-rounded class that wields swords.
Archer--A bow and arrow-wielding class with good power, but low defense.
Mage--A class of magic-wielders that use staffs and spells.
Healer--A weak, but useful class with special healing powers and good defense to make up for its strength.
Axeman--The most powerful class, with low speed and defense, but the ability to take out enemies easily with their powerful axes.
Thief--The quickest class, with low strength, average defense, and special skills used for stealing and sneaking.
Before choosing your class, you might want to know a bit more about them.
Power, of course, determines how much damage you do. Speed will be explained later on. Defense counteracts attacks sent by enemies.
The way you'll really determine a class's strength is by its Special Skills. I'll post them later.
Leveling up:
When the team defeats enemies, they all recieve Experience Points. After you recieve a certain number of Experience Points, you'll raise a level. The higher level you are, the more powerful you are, but also the more powerful the enemies are. We start out at Level 1.
You may change your class ONLY right after you've leveled up, but BEFORE you've attacked after leveling up.
The Battle System:
Here's how the battle system works:
When we find an enemy/enemies, one of them will attack.
You will then be able to move. You will be able to move a certain amount of spaces depending on your class.
The enemy/enemies will be a certain number of spaces away. Some enemies must attack up close, and therefore move towards us, but others can attack from distances.
This is how many spaces each class can move:
Swordsman: Up to 3 spaces
Archer: Up to 2 spaces
Mage: Up to 2 spaces
Healer: Up to 3 spaces
Axeman: 1 space
Thief: Up to 5 spaces
Archers and Mages can attack from a distance, unless a Mage uses an up-close staff attack. That attack requires the character to move up next to an enemy.
After you have moved, you will have four choices: Attack, Defend, Use Item, or Perform Special Skill.
If you attack, you'll take the damage dealt by the enemy, but will attack them back.
Depending on your class, your defense power may be good enough to stop the attack's power completely on yourself or just stop some of it.
If you use an item, you can use a potion or some other item. You will take the damage given by the enemy.
If you perform a special skill, then it depends on what skill you have to determine if you take the damage or not.
Special Skills do many different things. Each has a description of what it does. It could be used to attack, defend yourself or all party members, or other things.
The first enemies will probably be pretty easy, but they will get harder as we get to higher levels.
After you've performed your action, the enemy will attack again, or perhaps, with higher-leveled enemies, heal itself.
Since I'll be posting when the enemy attacks, my character will perform one of the four actions.
After that, 3, and ONLY 3 other people can perform their actions. Once 3 others have done so, I will post again with the enemy's new action.
Nothing chooses who the 3 people are. Just get in when you get the chance!
If you aren't one of the three people, you won't receive any damage. The 3 people are the only ones who might receive the damage.
Once the enemy/enemies are defeated, we will recieve experience points.
After we have enough experience points, we will level up, and our experience point count will return to zero.
After we level up, I will open the shop where you can buy special skills, weapons, potions, or other things.
Charging up: You can charge up any weapon, and when the charged attack is realeased, you will do TWICE THE DAMAGE.
But here's the thing: You have to make a post saying that you're charging the weapon, and then make a post later about releasing the charge. There's no double-posting allowed, of course, so wait until after someone else has posted to realease your charge. If you're the third attacker, then anyone else can post, but not with an attack.
If you're one of the 3 people to attack this time, you need not worry about posting again after you've charged.
Health Points: (HP for short) You have a certain number of health points that raises each time you rise a level.
In the event that all of your health points are lost, you will pass out. But don't worry, you won't die!
All you have to do...is post! That's how you recover.
After you lose your health, make a post about your recovery. It doesn't just have to be something like, "Bob is recovering..." if you don't want it to be. Feel free to add some feeling, like:
"Bob, lying on the ground, out of energy, slowly regained his health by thinking of his team, and how they needed him."
You must make 2 posts before you're fully recovered. So, after you pass out, make one post about your recovery, wait for someone else to post, then make another recovery post, wait for someone else to post again, and then you'll have fully healed and be back in the game!
But, if you pass out, the enemy will take your weapons! If you want them back, fight for them! You'll have to use your fists, which aren't as powerful, but once the enemy/enemies are gone, you'll get all your weapons back.
If the enemies are all defeated by the time you recover, and the team has moved on, don't worry! You'll still be with them.
Skill Points: There is another set of points, called Skill Points (SP, for short).
Skill Points are used whenever you use a Special Skill (more explained later on). After you've bought a Special Skill, you can use it as many times as you like, as long as you have enough SP to use it.
Each Special Skill is worth a certain amount of Skill Points. Whenever you use a Special Skill, the amount of SP the skill is worth will be subtracted from your SP total.
We'll start out with 10 SP. We'll get more each time we level-up.
More About Weapons: Yes, there is more!
Even if you're not part of a class that carries a certain weapon, you can still buy and use that weapon. However, since you won't be as skilled with the weapon, it won't do as much damage.
Here is the damage amount for all Level-1 weapons. The amount of Attack Points (AP) the weapon does is represented by either APC, for if you're a member of the class that uses that weapon, or APN if you're not a member of that class. DP stands for Defense Points, if you choose to defend. If your Defense Points are equal to or greater than the enemy's Attack Points, then you'll cancel out the attack's power on yourself.
Weapons:
Level-1 Sword (Swordsman's weapon) APC: 3 pts. / APN: 1 pt. / DP: 3 pts.
Level-1 Bow and Arrow (Archer's weapon) APC: 4 pts. / APN: 2 pts. / DP: 2 pts.
Level-1 Staff (Mage's weapon, if used as a weapon without a spell) APC: 2. pts. / APN: 1 pt. / DP: 2 pts.
Level-1 Small Sword (Healer's weapon, but they have special abilities to heal, this is just how they fight) APC: 1 pt. / APN: 1 pt. / DP: 4 pts.
Level-1 Axe (Axeman's weapon) APC: 4 pts. / APN 2 pts. / DP: 1 pt.
Level-1 Dagger (Thief's weapon, but they have special abilities that help in attacking) APC: 1 pt. / APN: 1 pt. / DP: 3 pts.
You get to start out with these weapons, but you can also buy Special Skills. These can ONLY be used by the class they're for.
I know they don't seem like they much damage at all, but the Level-1 enemies won't be too strong, so it won't be a problem.
Here are the Level-1 Special Skills for each class. You must buy them using Mythican currency, called Mythdrocs (M for short). We'll start out with 1,000 M. You can buy more than one of each skill, as long as you have the money for it. Special Skills for each class can ONLY be bought by a member of that class. For instance, an Axeman cannot buy a Swordsman's Special Skill.
After the description for each SS, you'll see the price, and then the amount of Skill Points needed to use it.
Swordsman's Special Skills:
Power Attack: Dishes out an extra 2 points of damage, so just add 2 points to your normal attack point power. Price: 300 M SP: 3

Sword Thrust: Knocks an enemy back two spaces, along with dealing out the normal amount of damage. Price: 400 M SP: 4

Earth Spell: Sends a long-ranged spell with Earth Power. Attack Points: 3. Price: 200 M SP: 2
Fire Spell: Sends a long-ranged spell with Fire Power. Attack Points: 3, but the enemy will also catch on fire and lose 1 HP After each round of attack. Price: 300 M SP: 3
Water Spell: Sends a long-ranged spell with Water Power. Attack Points: 3. Price: 200 M SP: 2
Wind Spell: Sends a long-ranged spell with Wind Power. Also knocks an enemy back 1 space. Attack Points: 3. Price: 300 M SP: 3

Single Heal: Heals any one party member by 3 HP. Price: 200 M SP: 2
Heal and Strike: Heals the Healer by 3 HP and gives the enemy the normal amount of damage points. Price: 400 M SP: 4

Axe Spin: Causes a wide attack to hit multiple enemies. Price: 500 M SP: 5
Quick Move: Enables you to move an extra space for the next time you attack. Price: 300 M SP: 3
Thief's Special Skills:
Dagger Strike: Dishes out an extra 2 points of damage, so just add 2 points to your normal attack point power. Price: 200 M. SP: 2
Pickpocket: A Thief's specialty; using this, you can steal money from the enemy. The amount of money you steal is whatever level they are times 10. So, a level-3 enemy would yield 30 M, while a level-10 enemy would lose 100 M. Price: 200 M. SP: 2
Run Away! : Use this after moving up next to an enemy to attack them, then move 5 spaces away. Useful for up-close attacking enemies. Price: 300 M.
Of course, this is not all you can buy. I know it may not seem like much, but there will be more later. Some Special Skills for certain classes, as you can see, are cheaper than others, but the more expensive ones, like for an Axeman, for example, do much more damage.
Mages have the most Special Skills because they use spells to attack enemies.
Thieves have Special Skills that enable them to steal from enemies.
So, look at each class's Special Skills to determine which is the one for you.
Also, there will be additional things to buy, mostly potions that do many interesting things.
You can also sell your special skills for the same price you bought them at. This is good if you want to change your class, because you might have Special Skills for your previous class that you couldn't use.
