...You may have noticed it, too. In almost every Zelda game, Link starts somewhere in the south. In the very first game, he was in one of the southern parts of Hyrule. Adventure of Link was one of the exceptions. In both A Link to the Past and Minish Cap, Link has a house in the south, near Hyrule Castle. In fact, in Minish Cap, he lives in South Hyrule Field. In Link's Awakening, he washes up on the southern shores. In Ocarina, Kokiri Forest is in the south, and in Majora's Mask, once you find Termina, Link always begins his three-day journey in South Clock Town. In Wind Waker, Outset Island is one of the southernmost islands of the Great Sea. In Twilight Princess, Ordona Province is the southernmost province. And in Phantom Hourglass, Mercay Island is in the Southwestern quadrant of the Great Sea. Any particular reason? Share your thoughts!

It's probably so all the northern horizons can have pretty mountains in them. ;D
Snowpeak, Death Mountain, Zora's Domain, Tribly Highlands or whatever, ett'c, ett'c, ett'c. ^_^
